Villa Driftwood is an elegant villa that has 4 bedrooms and is located close to the 15th fairway of the Royal Golf course Vale do Lobo and about 12 minutes walking distance to the Praça and beach. Villa Driftwood is spacious and offers every convenience and luxury, such as heatable pool, air conditioning, Sky TV, gas bbq and wireless internet.
Through the entrance door you are in the entry hall of the villa. The entry hall is very light and gives access to the two very spacious bedrooms both with en-suite whirlpool bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has access through patio doors to the partly covered terrace, the swimming pool and garden. The pool can be heated, and a pool fence is available on request - charges apply.
The living/dining room with open fire place, flat screen TV with sound surround and DVD player is very bright and nicely decorated. Beside the living/dining room is the modern kitchen equipped with all the appliances. Separate room with the washing machine, dryer and freezer and an extra shower.
On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms both with access through patio doors to the sun terrace. One is a double bed with 2 other single beds, terrace overlooking the sea. The other bedroom is also a double bedroom.
The large sun terrace has comfortable garden furniture. One bedroom has an en-suite whirlpool bathroom, the other bedroom have also en-suite bathroom. All the bedrooms have satellite TV, air conditioning and whirlpool bath in 3 bathrooms.
From the roof terrace there is fantastic view over the Atlantic Ocean, Ria Formosa and the surroundings of Vale do Lobo.
In the Praca there are numerous restaurants and bars – open all day and late into the evening. There is free live entertainment from May to September. Monty’s Bar and Restaurant is open all year round with evening entertainment. Enjoy watching the sunset over the beach & ocean from Breeze bar or Sandbanks both serving cocktails and international cuisine. There is also Free WIFI available in the praca.
The walk to the beach and praca from Villa Driftwood takes about 10 minutes walking through the resort. It is an easy stroll, suitable for all ages and buggys. It is only a 5 minute drive from the villa to the medical centre and mini market on the main entrance roundabout. In Parque do Golfe (central area of the resort) there is a cash machine, post office, newsagent, bank, hair dresser, spa, cafes etc
If tennis is your game, you will be impressed with the facilities of the Vale do Lobo Tennis Centre, just a few minutes walk from the villa. There are 14 tennis courts and onsite pool and cafe.

Vale do Lobo is located on the beach area known as ‘Praia Vale do Lobo’, considered to be one of the finest beaches in the Algarve. From Vale do Lobo you can walk in an easterly direction to both "Praia do Ancao" and "Praia do Garrao" through the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa which is a heritage protected area of lagoons and wet areas that support the local wildlife population. If you walk towards the east you pass "Praia do Trafal" and "Praia do Almargem", following onto "Praia Forte Nouvo" and then onto the Quarteria stretch of beaches.

Pool heating is available and costs an additional €400 per week. The price is inclusive of VAT. Please note that the temperature of the water when heated is dependent on the external temperature / weather. Cold overnight temperatures and rain will mean that the water may be cooler. We cannot guarantee a temperature of the water.
Changeover days vary from property to property please email us for more information. It is necessary to vacate the villa by 10am on the last day. Access to the villa is after 4pm on day of arrival.

The quoted rates includes daily maid service 5 days a week with change of sheets after 7 nights. The rental includes preparation of the villa also cleaning on departure and heating and/or air conditioning. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Individual hire : Foldaway bed with linen and towels €125, baby travel cot (as provided by manufacturer) & provision of foam mattress, linen and towels €90, high chair €30. Extra Maid service on request - €60 per 2 hour booking (this consists of either 1 maid for 2 hours or 2 maids for 1 hour).
SandyBlue can provide many extras on request (charges apply) such as pool tables and table tennis (where installation is possible), in villa catering, car hire and airport transfers etc. Please ask for more details.

For all rentals, a securing deposit must be paid at the time of booking. This is 25% of the total booking value. All such deposits are non-refundable. The final balance is to be paid 12 weeks before arrival.
Accidental Damage Cover (Non-Refundable)
Villa Driftwood is covered for accidental damage by a non-refundable charge of €6 per person (excluding infants) which will be added to your confirmation invoice. This covers you for accidental damage to the property during your occupation up to the value of €200 per incident. This expressly excludes damage caused through negligence and / or vandalism.
If there has been any damage to the property which exceeds the value of €200, or we believe has been caused by negligence and / or vandalism, you will be notified by email within 14 days of your leaving date and we will issue you an invoice for immediate payment.
In the event of any damage, we ask that you notify us immediately regardless of value.
This does not cover lost house keys which will be immediately charged if lost.
Security Deposit (Refundable)
In addition to the ‘Accidental Damage Cover’, Villa Driftwood is also subject to a refundable ‘Security Deposit’. This is a fixed amount of €2,000 and is payable at least 4 weeks prior to arrival date.
Any damage caused to the property must be reported immediately and any damage cost will be deducted from your security deposit. Your ‘Accidental Damage Cover’ will cover the first €200 of any single incident.
Following your departure, the Property Management Team will inspect the property and you will be informed within 10 days of any issues identified. Your security deposit will be returned within 14 days.
