The exterior
Upon entering the front gate into the enchanting, mature garden, you’ll discover a children's trampoline tucked away to your left, with the pool just a bit further ahead. The pool is fully heated (for an additional fee), ensuring you can spend plenty of time enjoying the water or relaxing in the sun.
The front of the house features a charming terracotta terrace, offering various outdoor seating areas with sofas, tables, and chairs. Here, you can engage in lively conversations or enjoy evening dinners in a cosy, alfresco setting.
External steps winding around the side of the house lead to the stunning roof terrace. This area is perfect for sunset drinks or simply lounging in the outdoor bed, providing a serene space to unwind and take in the breathtaking views.
The living areas
Upon entering Casa Calhau, you'll be captivated by its charming rustic interior.
The kitchen, fully equipped with modern appliances and all the chef's utensils you might need, is ready to welcome you and your culinary creations. Adjacent to the kitchen is the laundry room and access to the back terrace, which features a large dining table that seats 12, nestled under the shade of tall pine trees. This serene outdoor space is perfect for dining throughout the day.
Connected to the kitchen is the indoor dining room, an inviting space where many family memories are sure to be made.
Lastly, we arrive at the fantastic living room. Adorned with rustic décor and a heartwarming fireplace, it also boasts a separate, cosy TV room. We are confident you’ll fall in love with this charming space at first sight!
The bedrooms
By the entrance, you'll find two en-suite bedrooms, each offering a view of the pool outside. Both of these bedrooms are furnished with twin beds. Additionally, this area includes a guest WC and a children's bedroom, which features two triple bunk beds and an en-suite bathroom.
After exploring the ground floor, head upstairs to discover the remaining bedrooms. The first bedroom on this floor is a twin room with an en-suite bathroom and direct access to the main roof terrace and the outdoor lounge area. Next, you'll encounter the master bedroom, which boasts a double bed, its own balcony with seating, and an en-suite bathroom that includes a bathtub.
Finally, you'll find the steps leading to the second-floor rooftop terrace, where another seating area awaits, perfect for enjoying a late-night drink or simply taking in the beautiful views.
