Will book again without hesitation!

We enjoyed a lovely week in Villa Gela-Mar. The location is terrific - a short walk to the beach yet also very close to the large pool, tennis courts and newly renovated Dunas restaurant at the Dunas Douradas centre. The interior of the villa is very modern, with an excellent kitchen and numerous smart TVs, which were great when some wanted to watch late-night Netflix and others wanted to sleep! The outdoor areas were another highlight, perfect for our daily alfresco dining, but nothing could top the rooftop terrace, which we christened “The Nest”! We spent many happy hours up there, relaxing in the shade during the day and with the sea in view, watching the sun go down and then having a quiet drink in the evening, admiring the floodlit palm tree and the twinkling lights from villas in the accompanying hills. We had such a good time in Villa Gela-Mar that we had no hesitation in booking it for next year within a few weeks of returning home.

We loved our stay!

We loved staying at Villa Gela-Mar. It was perfect for us as a family and in a great location for beaches, restaurants and the golf courses of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. SandyBlue were very helpful before and during our stay and housekeeping efficient. We will be using SandyBlue again!

A lovely stay!

I was very pleased with the correspondence that I received from SandyBlue when I booked my holiday to the Algarve. Clear instructions given on how to proceed with the booking, suggestions for restaurants and answered any questions I had promptly. We also took your advice and hired a car from VDL car hire. Great service! Villa Gela-Mar is a lovely place to stay. It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Outside the villa around the pool there are many areas you can enjoy either sitting and relaxing in the sunshine or taking some shade. There is even a terrace. The location of the villa is perfect

We had a great holiday thank you. We loved the villa, it was in a great location and beautifully decorated. Our main aim when searching for a villa was the safety aspect, since we had 4 children with us (including a toddler!). We found it to be very safe and secure- the pool barrier is a must and it made our holiday more relaxing. Thank you for being so quick to respond to emails and any questions we had. We have enjoyed the process and been very impressed with Sandy Blue. As and when we go to book another holiday, we will look to use you again.

We all had a great stay at Gela mar

We all had a great stay at the Gela mar house. It is very near the beach and we walked there easily with the children and my parents. The children loved the pool and played with the toys already available at the house. The house is very complete. A very nice thing about the house is the terrace at the roof top. We were sitting there every morning. We had lovely weather and enjoyed the Algarve again. We will be coming back.

We spent 10 amazing days in Villa Gela-mar

We spent 10 amazing days in Vila Gela Mar. When we arrived we were astonished by the interior as well as the exterior. Everything was just perfect! The location close to the beach, nice restaurants and the communal facilities was great for our family vacation with 2 young children and grandparents. Nice with all the toys for the kids even though most of the time was spend in the pool. We did not rent at car, but instead we used the taxi company Jumping Little Monkey, which we can highly recommend. Timely and very service-minded. We did our grocery shopping in Almancil, and it worked out well. Everybody coming to the area should definitely have dinner at Parilla Naturel. What an extraordinary place! Haven’t seen anything like it. Top food and service and the kids area with cinema made the evening perfect. We all fell in love with Algarve and are without doubt coming back next year. Thanks for the email, yes we had a fantastic time at Vila Gela the week was really special. I have to say that Villa Gela Mar was ideal for our special break this year, 10 minutes stroll from fantastic beaches, great restaurants within walking distance also. The villa itself was brilliant great communal areas by the pool and in the lounge but also a great covered veranda up on the roof where you can get away sit in the shade and be engrossed in the latest book.
