Apartment Romeo and Juliet is a welcoming, air conditioned, first floor apartment in the beautiful area of Dunas Douradas, located in the Golden Triangle. The apartment has a sizeable balcony and views over tropical grounds - this is the perfect setting for a memorable holiday, ideal for friends, couples and families alike.

The exterior

The development of Dunas Douradas is a private enclave boasting a large Roman style pool, children's splash pool and two floodlit tennis courts. Onsite there is a little convenience store, a poolside cafe and a restaurant called Xenia. Stays at Romeo and Juliet include complimentary use of the communal pool.

The balcony has lovely views across the gardens and ample space for outside dining - perfect for summer evenings.

The living areas

The apartment is very comfortable with an open plan living and dining room, separated from the modern kitchen by the breakfast bar. You will have everything you need for a comfortable stay!

The bedrooms

The bedrooms are bright and each has its own bathroom (one en-suite and one adjacent). The master room has a king bed (that can be split into two singles) and is en-suite, while the second bedroom is a twin room with adjacent bathroom. 

About the area

Romeo and Juliet is located in the fabulous Dunas Douradas, in Vale do Lobo! For ideas and tips, head to our 'Exploring Dunas Douradas' guide.

Dunas Douradas is a great location for any golfer, as several of the Algarve's famous golf courses are to be found within a few kilometres. Other sports and activities are on offer nearby. Also close to the beaches of Praia do Ancão and Praia do Garrão. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area – Maria’s, Fin’s’, Izzy’s, António Tá Certo.

A magical stay!

What a wonderful and magical stay. We sipped wine and incredible local cheeses were eaten as the sun set on the beautiful balcony. Also amazing for breakfast in peace and tranquillity. Had an amazing time in the huge pool and beat my partner at tennis regularly! Being able to walk to the beach and great restaurants like Izzy's and Maria's was the icing on the Dunas cake. We loved every minute and will be back!

A really good stay!

All in all a really good stay. Great beds, comfy accommodation and a spot-on location. All the staff were brilliant – the cleaning team were super-efficient and friendly. Having all the sports channels on tap was fantastic, and loads of decent books available. We were really impressed!

An ideal apartment!

The apartment was ideal for our requirements as a father and son on a golf break. It was perfectly presented and spotlessly clean. The check-in process was very easy and the welcome basket was a nice touch. I’m familiar with the area so I knew the location would be fine and walkable to Julia’s, Maria’s etc. Additionally very happy with the easy communication with you guys and the prompt response to enquiries.

Highly recommended!

Great stay!

What a wonderful apartment...

What a wonderful apartment. My son and I stayed here from the 15th until the 22nd of September. We love your beautiful apartment, felt very much at home and enjoyed the location, the weather and the facilities. Also the little touches - the sailing ship above the fire place and the acorns. we had a fantastic stay at your appartment Romeo and Juliet. Everything was great includung the attentivly housekeeping. The appartment has a nice decor with new bathrooms, very clean and appealing. The air condition in our bedroom was very quiet. Kitchen and living room is open and lightful.

The accommodation was a perfect size, modern, comfortable and was well kitted out for my 2 sons and myself. But for me it was all about location, the facilities nearby and being able to easily keep my 8 and 10yr old boys entertained. Having access to Xenia is a real treat. It has a great sized pool and plenty of loungers for me to chill and relax, a great pool bar area and the tennis courts. The beach at Julia's is an easy 10 minute stroll away, so a fantastic place to eat well and catch the evening sunset

A First Class property and excellent Service from Sandy Blue ……well pleased.

We spent a long time on our holiday in September 2016 reviewing all of the Apartment properties by walking around and noting apartment numbers and talking to on-site residents in Dunas Douradas Our criteria was - which had the best views, which were in a likely quite location, how much sun did they get on the balcony and when. We narrowed it down to 3, with Romeo and Juliet being number 1. We were not disappointed, the décor, furnishings, cleanliness were top order. Even a giant Super King size bed was included. The Apartment could not be faulted and the service from Sandy Blue likewise. No noisy neighbours, all the TV channels you could wish for and recently refitted Kitchen and bathrooms. A First Class property and excellent Service from Sandy Blue ……well pleased.

Everything was perfect

We had a fabulous time

We had a fabulous time in the algarve in August. Perfect unbroken sunshine and a great apartment on Dunas Doradas. The apartment was clean and the owners had provided essentials for our arrival...a lovely touch. Staff at Sandy Blue were available on the occasions we needed to contact, including weekends and early evening. Amy mainly dealt with our visit and was helpful friendly and very efficient. We plan to return and will look up Sandy Blue where we do.

Perfect apartment!

Perfect apartment and venue for a family of two parents and 16 & 18 year olds. Apartment is very well appointed and comfortable and the teenagers particularly like the fact that it had wifi! Really close to a lovely large communal pool, big enough to swim proper lengths, with a nice cafe and small shop. Two well tended tennis courts next to the pool that were easy to book and lots of lovely restaurants and sightseeing trips within easy access if you have a hire car, but also nice beach restaurants you can walk to in 15 minutes.
