Villa Calypso definitely lives up to its name thanks to the vibrant outdoor areas. The mature lawns and tropical garden offer privacy due to the fenced plot. The large contemporary pool is perfect for hot days, featuring water jets and a toddler zone. The kids will love playing in the water here! For delicious meals in the sun, there is a gas BBQ with a prep area and a shaded dining/seating area.
To entertain the kids even more, there is a playground with slide, climbing frame and a Wendy House. Finally, the large roof terrace provides lovely south-facing views to enjoy a morning coffee or evening cocktails.
Villa Calypso offers plenty of space for a family, with modern interiors and cool decor. The large entrance hall is ready to welcome you as you step through the door. The open plan living area leads out to the pool area, so natural light pours through. There is a large built-in TV in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, plus a coffee machine and a breakfast bar.
The villa features a games room complete with a pool table, table tennis and another TV for a games console. For a morning workout, the gym features high spec Technogym equipment such as a multigym, leg extension and bicycle.
With 4 bedrooms, Villa Calypso sleeps 8 guests. Each room is designed with your comfort in mind and each has an en-suite bathroom. The first room is for the children, with adventure bunks and a slide. The second bedroom is a twin single, while the third is a double bedroom with a king bed. Finally, the master suite features a super king bed, dressing room, balcony, bathroom with double basins, walk in shower and oriental terrace with an outside shower.

There are 8 championship golf courses only a 10-minute drive away and the largest tennis academy in Europe is just 8-minute drive from Quinta do Mar. There are plenty of spas in the vicinity including one located at the nearby Ria Park Hotel and the spa at Vale do Lobo. Praia do Ancão and Praia do Garrão are only a 5-minute drive where you will find great beach restaurants – Julia’s, Izzy’s, António Tá Certo, Fins, 2 Passos, The Bold Octopus.

Changeover days vary from property to property. Please email us for more information. It is necessary to vacate the property by 10am on the last day. Access to the property is after 4pm on day of arrival.

The quoted weekly rates includes maid service with a mid-week towel change. Stays of 14 nights or more include a mid-stay linen change. The rental includes preparation of the villa also cleaning on departure and air conditioning. All bed linen and towels are provided.
SandyBlue can provide many extras on request (charges apply) such as in villa catering, car hire and airport transfers etc. Please ask for more details.
Individual hire: Foldaway bed with linen and towels €125, baby travel cot (as provided by the manufacturer) & provision of foam mattress, linen and towels €90, high chair €30. Extra Maid service on request - €60 per 2 hour booking (this consists of either 1 maid for 2 hours or 2 maids for 1 hour).

For all rentals, a securing deposit must be paid at the time of booking. This is 25% of the total booking value. All such deposits are non-refundable. The final balance is to be paid 12 weeks before arrival.
Accidental Damage Cover (ADC, Non-Refundable)
Villa Calypso is covered for accidental damage by a non-refundable charge of €56 per week, which will be added to your confirmation invoice. This covers you for accidental damage to the property during your occupation up to the value of €200 per incident. This expressly excludes damage caused through negligence and / or vandalism.
If there has been any accidental damage to the property that exceeds the value of €200, you will be notified by email within 10 days of your leaving date and we will discount the amount above €200 from your refundable security deposit. However, if SandyBlue believes that this damage was caused by negligence and/or vandalism, ADC will not apply and the full cost of any repairs or replacements will be deducted from the refundable security deposit.
In the event of any damage, we ask that you notify us immediately regardless of value.
This does not cover lost house keys which will be immediately charged if lost.
Properties managed by SandyBlue have full access to our property management and housekeeping services. We undertake routine inspections regularly, ensuring the property is ready to welcome new guests.
We believe in pristine properties. Our maintenance team is always on hand to oversee many aspects of the property, while housekeeping’s professional approach means the very best hygiene protocols are followed all year round.
