A special holiday!

We had a fantastic time at Villa Augusta, which is the best villa we have ever stayed in. It's a fantastic property and has everything you could ever need for a perfect family holiday. From the open plan living room/kitchen to the lovely outdoor pool area, bedrooms, bathrooms and games/cinema room, it was very special. It will certainly be top of the list for the next time we book a villa holiday. As ever, the service from the team at Sandy Blue was first class. Thank you. Relaxing break

Just a short note of thanks to SandyBlue from my husband and I following our trip to Portugal. We both fell in love with Villa Augusta and we are already looking at dates to return next year. We had such a relaxing time and spent most of the holiday lounging by the pool playing music from the integrated sound system. We ventured out for dinner to some lovely local restaurants on a few evenings but spent most of the break enjoying the villa.

Everything here anyone could want

We spent an amazing holiday in the Algarve during June and we all agreed the location of Villa Augusta is second to none. Within our wider family group we had golfers, swimmers, padel tennis players, walkers, runners, cyclists and foodies. Each and everyone one of us were busy most days and you can walk to The Campus or the beach from the villa if you wish. However for rounds of golf, day trips or shopping you would need to use an Uber (which are cheap and plentiful) or alternatively hire a car. For anyone who doesn’t want an active break Villa Augusta is also perfect with the stunning outdoor space and fabulous entertainment floor in the basement. All in all there is everything here anyone could want and I would highly recommend the villa and SandyBlue.

Easter sunshine

Eight of us spent a fun and sunshine filled week in Villa Augusta playing golf during the day, watching The Masters in the cinema room during the evening and eating a little too much over the 7 days! I just wanted to pass on a word of thanks to both SandyBlue and the owners for the luxury and facilities of this villa. We had such a special time we have all decided to return to Villa Augusta to repeat the trip in April 2025!

A wonderful place

The service we received from Sandy Blue was superb! The villa was wonderful, plenty of space for 7 adults and lots of space outside for everyone. The bedrooms were large and very comfortable and the dining spaces both inside and out side were great for our numbers.The cinema room and games area in the basement was a welcome bonus and glad that we heated the pool in October although I think we were very lucky with some high temperatures too! Overall a wonderful place and great service so we hope to return with you again

Blown away by Villa Augusta

We stayed in Villa Augusta for a sunshine filled week as the property and location had been recommended to us by friends of ours who were here last year. I just wanted to say that we have been blown away by Villa Augusta and spent a very relaxing week here. We also lunched in lots of special locations including The Shack, Bold Octupus, Maria’s Beach Club etc. We were sad to leave and we wanted to say thanks to the owners and SandyBlue!

Lazy Summer Days

We have stayed in villas in the US and Europe for many years but I can safely say this was probably the best holiday we have ever had. Firstly the location of the property is amazing as you can walk to the beach with a wide selection of restaurants or along the board walk to Quinta do Lago and/or Vale do Lobo. We spent endless lazy Summer days on Ancão Beach and having 3 Moço Bar actually on the sand was a real bonus. Secondly the villa was amazing and we would not hesitate to recommend it as there was literally something for everyone to do, both inside and out. The facilities and entertainment in Villa Augusta are top class and we are already booked in to return next year. Thirdly there is so much to do in the general area such as golf, padel tennis etc and one of the boys even joined the gym at The Campus for the fortnight. Finally a special thanks to SandyBlue! We didn’t hire a car for our holiday as the local Uber service was very good but we probably will next year. Anyway thanks again and we are already looking forward to returning.

Five stars!

My husband and I stayed at Villa Augusta for a week in October together with our two daughters and friends and we all had the most wonderful break. The villa is bigger and more beautiful than we had expected and so very well located. Full praise to all the team at Sandyblue

Full praise to all the team at Sandyblue that helped and allowed us to take our holiday which was originally planned for May 2020 - to celebrate my 50th birthday! After covid lockdown and government crazy rules, third time lucky we managed to book and thank you Sandyblue for keeping our holiday dream alive! Even the last minute villa change did not ruin a fabulous holiday. So 10 out of 10 to you all and I have been singing your praises to everyone. Our flight landed at 11am and thank you for allowing us to leave our baggage at your agency and organising with Pleasant Tours to bring our baggage to us and taking us to the villa for 5pm check-in. Villa Augusta was a fabulous and more than catered for our needs (there were 8 ladies on this trip). It really is a smart, luxury space to spend a holiday. The outside area (around the pool) was sufficient for our needs. Plenty of sofa space to sit and relax during the day and in the evenings. Spending all day on the loungers and a few evenings eating outside. We are sun worshippers so all used the outside/lounger space. You could not ask for more space inside the villa a real luxury. The kitchen equipped perfectly, with plenty of crockery/utensils etc. No complaints regarding the bedrooms and bathrooms - beds very comfortable, loads of storage space. Clean, smart, decor lovely. The girls who stayed in the basement said that the room and area was much better than expected. The games/cinema room is amazing and we managed to make some use of them as we had a couple of cloudy days! Even a movie was watched!! The area is lovely. The taxi service was amazing and picked us up to take us shopping and were literally our personal chauffer taking us to dinner in the evenings and to the beach! I have not experienced such efficient taxi service before (having spent 20 years holidaying in the Algarve) I really cannot speak highly enough of Sandyblue and Villa Augusta and I am so grateful that we had this holiday so thank you all so much. I will definitely be looking at Sandyblue again for my future holidays to the Algarve. As I mentioned I have been visiting the Algarve for the last 20 years and will continue as long as I can. We were discussing a golfing week at some point and Villa Augusta would be the perfect accommodation.

We really didn’t want to leave the villa that often!

Just a quick note to say thanks to SandyBlue and the owners for such an amazing holiday at Villa Augusta. The villa is stunning and the location was great. We were able to walk to one of the beaches with beachside restaurants and the rest were only a short Uber ride away - although we really didn’t want to leave the villa that often!

Villa Augusta is ideal for families of all ages

We had such a memorable stay in this superb villa. Villa Augusta is ideal for families of all ages. We found it spotless, so spacious and very well equipped. We especially loved the large modern kitchen and entertainment floor for movie nights and pool tournaments after a day by the pool or at the beach. Being able to access our Netflix and Apple TV accounts was an added bonus. The heated pool was great in October. We didn’t want to leave!

It was a perfect villa to relax in luxury

Villa Augusta is beautifully decorated and everything is modern and new. It was a perfect villa to relax in luxury. The outdoor speakers gave a great holiday vibe relaxing by the pool and the arcade machine in the games room was a fun feature! There were plenty of comfy sun loungers and several shaded areas with sofas to take a break from the Algarve sun. It was a short stroll to the beach and we enjoyed dinner and cocktails at the newly opened Parrilla Beach club. Great location.
