Rate Notes

Rates are quoted in Euros with a guide Sterling value and payment can be made in either currency.

All rental periods include 1 mid-week maid service with towel change. Extra maid service available please ask for details. The apartment is prepared for your arrival.

Changeover days vary from property to property. Please email us for more information. It is necessary to vacate the property by 10am on the last day. Access to the property is after 4pm on day of arrival.

Booking Notes

The quoted weekly rates include maid service with a mid-week towel change. Stays of 13 nights or more include a long-stay clean and linen change. For stays of 9 to 12 nights for your comfort, there is a compulsory additional maid service with linen and towel change at a surcharge of €109.96. The rental includes air conditioning, preparation of the property and cleaning on departure. All bed linen and towels are provided.

SandyBlue can provide many extras on request (charges apply) such as in villa catering, car hire and airport transfers etc. Please ask for more details.

Individual hire: Foldaway bed with linen and towels €125, baby travel cot (as provided by the manufacturer) & provision of foam mattress, linen, and towels €90, highchair €30. Extra Maid service on request - €60 per 2-hour booking (this consists of either 1 maid for 2 hours or 2 maids for 1 hour).

Cancellation refunds:

  • Cancellation anytime from date of booking to 63 days before arrival date - loss of deposit
  • Cancellation 56-62 days before arrival date - 50% forfeit on the total value of the booking
  • Cancellation 42-55 days before arrival – 75% forfeit of the total value of the booking
  • Cancellation 15-41 days before arrival – 95% forfeit of the total value of the booking
  • Cancellation between 0 and 14 days before arrival – 100% of the value of the booking is forfeited
  • Please note that we do not accept groups of young/unrelated adults, animals, or pets
  • Only registered guests for the reservation may occupy the property at any time
  • No events or parties can be held at any property unless authorised prior with written consent from SandyBlue
  • All properties are non-smoking

For all rentals, a securing deposit must be paid at the time of booking. This is 25% of the total booking value. All such deposits are non-refundable. The final balance is to be paid 12 weeks before arrival.

Accidental Damage Cover (ADC, Non-Refundable)

Lakeside Garden Apartment is covered for accidental damage by a non-refundable charge of €32 per week, which will be added to your confirmation invoice. This covers you for accidental damage to the property during your occupation up to the value of €200 per incident. This expressly excludes damage caused through negligence and / or vandalism.

If there has been any accidental damage to the property that exceeds the value of €200, you will be notified by email within 10 days of your leaving date and we will discount the amount above €200 from your refundable security deposit. However, if SandyBlue believes that this damage was caused by negligence and/or vandalism, ADC will not apply and the full cost of any repairs or replacements will be deducted from the refundable security deposit.

In the event of any damage, we ask that you notify us immediately regardless of value.

This does not cover lost house keys which will be immediately charged if lost.

Security Deposit (Refundable)

In addition to the ‘Accidental Damage Cover’, Lakeside Garden Apartment is also subject to a refundable ‘Security Deposit’. This is a fixed amount of €400 and is payable at least 4 weeks prior to arrival date.

Any damage caused to the property must be reported immediately and any damage cost will be deducted from your security deposit. Your ‘Accidental Damage Cover’ will cover the first €200 of any single incident.

Following your departure, the Property Management Team will inspect the property and you will be informed within 10 days of any issues identified. If no issues are detected, your security deposit will be returned in full within 14 days.

A fantastic week!

We had a fantastic week at the Lakeside Apartment in Quinta Do Lago with our two daughters aged 13 and 11. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. The pool was great, very warm and we often had it to ourselves. When there were other people using the pool, it was big enough for everyone to enjoy it. The location was also good, we enjoyed exploring local towns and beaches as well as the local area in Quinta. Throughout the whole process, from initial enquiry to returning home, the SandyBlue team were easy to communicate with and very helpful with any queries we had.

We loved our stay!

We loved our stay in the Lakeside Garden Apartment, travelling as a family of four with older kids. Lovely, well equipped apartment based in a fantastic, well maintained and friendly complex. The pool area was fantastic with great views of the lake. We also found the apartment well sound proofed and surprisingly spacious. As ever, the Sandy Blue team were responsive and friendly. We can’t fault their service!

A fantastic stay!

We have been visiting this part of the algarve for a number of years, we haven’t booked with Sandy Blue before until I found this apartment on the website. I must say that we had a fantastic stay at Lakeside Apartment, it was in a fabulous location, we lived being able to virtually step iff the patio onto the pool area, and bring by the lake was and the facilities there was just brilliant. The property was exactly as it was presented in the photos and information provided, It really was very luxurious and modern, plus it was very clean and smelled lovely and fresh upon our arrival! The team of cleaners also did a great job whilst we were there. The bag full of local goodies was a really lovely touch! We would highly recommend this property and are already thinking about re-booking for next year! The communication has been great from Sandy Blue and we really appreciated being allowed to get into our appartment earlier than expected, we had to change our flights and had been up since 1.30 am so the kids were shattered, therefore it was great to just get in!

We have just arrived home and are missing being there so much!

We stayed at the Lakeside garden apartment for the past 2 years. We have just arrived home and are missing being there so much. We felt happy and safer there, than in the UK at the moment!!! The apartment is perfect for us, we are a family of four, our boys are aged three and six years. The apartment has so much space for us all. The boys stayed in their own room with the twin beds which worked so well. The apartment is so spacious, clean, modern and it really feels like a home from home. It’s full of everything you could possibly need and anything extra Sandy Blue will help with that too. It has the perfect positioning between the lake and the pool. The children could play in the gardens surrounding us and I could watch them from our garden terrace and catch some rays too! It’s a really friendly complex too and we would chat around the pool and the boys were making some lovely friends. There’s a lovely restaurant/ cafe by the pool too so we would enjoy a treat or two during the day too. We had a car this year but you can use Uber too, the shops aren’t far away and The Shack is a lovely place to unwind to on the lake. We visited Quinta & Vale do Lobo beach most days and went to Vilamoura too. We have booked with Sandy Blue for the past 4 years and we struggle to book with anyone else. The villas and apartments offer so much more to us than a hotel could ever do. We just love Portugal and hope to come back again next year!

Perfect location with super views

Lakeside garden apartment lives up to the pictures - beautiful high quality fittings - large kitchen and lovely little terrace with super views . Perfect location to enjoy Quinta - walking distance to the restaurants and to The Campus. Sandy Blue organised everything beautifully and it was one of the most stress free holidays Top job !

A good time was had by all.

We have stayed in this apartment in Quinta Village before and once again we had a great holiday there. Well appointed, beautifully kept, with a beautiful outlook.....and very comfortable. It is only 50 yards from a king size pool and a very friendly pool-side bar run by a lovely couple Pedro and Sylvia. A good time was had by all.

Everything worked out just as it "said on the tin"

I am happy to tell you that we had a great holiday in Lakeside Garden Apartment. We had been in this lovely Apartment before, in Oct 2014, and we were delighted that we could rent it again this year. It is in a great location and has every amenity you could want. We are a pair of Senior Citizens so it is important for us to be on the ground floor, we were on the 3rd floor for a couple of years but lugging shopping and bottles of water up 28 steps is too much now. I made full use of the pool and feel the better for it As usual Sandy Blue looked after us so well. Everything worked out just as it "said on the tin"

Lakeside Garden is lovely Apartment...beautifully appointed and in a great location. Lakeside apartment was ideal!

We had a wonderful time in Portugal and enjoyed meeting you and Dawn at the Sandy Blue office. The weather was wonderful - the sun shone all the time we were there - and now we have snow in Scotland. Lakeside apartment was lovely and ideal for David and I during the first week then it was still good when our friends came out for week 2 of the holiday. We had car trips to both ends of the Algarve, had a boat trip out from Vilamoura and many lovely walks. We did enjoy being able to walk out from the apartment and being able to sit out as well. A special thanks too for providing the juice machine - it was used every day!!
