Villa Summer Bay is a luxurious 5-bedroom villa with 5 en-suite bathrooms and 1 WC on the ground floor and 1 WC on the basement level. The villa is set in spacious grounds and suitable for up to 12 people, with extra accommodation located next door to the separate ground floor WC and shared shower facilities.
Summer Bay boasts a fabulous indoor/outdoor living space perfect for families sharing or several friends enjoying a sunny holiday together. In the garden, there is a lovely sunny pool (12 x 6m, maximum depth 2m) with lots of sun-loungers, which will also have the option to be heated.
You can do proper laps or have a fantastic pool volleyball game, or, if that’s too energetic, simply relax and read a book while taking in the wonderful views through the many pine and palm trees to the surrounding hillside.
The outdoor kitchen and BBQ area with gas BBQ has its own covered terrace with dining tables and chairs to totally forget about the ‘real world’. Now’s the time to relax and soak up the Algarvean sunshine.
The property is accessed via a fabulously grand entrance hall leading on to a large, recently renovated kitchen with spacious dining area - perfect to enjoy breakfast in the morning. Just outside the kitchen window are orange, lemon and lime trees and you can pick your own fruit when it is in season.
The large indoor formal dining area is great for late night dining and leads to the lounge and outdoor entertainment area with kitchen, BBQ, dining table and chairs, sun-loungers, sofas, shady terraces, a grassy garden and a south-facing, sunny pool.
The combined lounge/dining room has terrace doors leading to the outdoor area – there is a wonderful feeling of space and light with plenty of room for everyone to relax and chill out while on holiday. The living area has a 55” flat screen TV with satellite channels and Sonos sound bar. The villa also has Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout for your convenience and comfort.
There is also a huge basement entertainment area with 65” flat screen TV with satellite channels, Sonos soundbar, table football, Wii Games console and table tennis table. There is also a separate office area if you really feel the need to work instead of enjoying the sunshine.
On the ground floor there are two external bedrooms with built in wardrobes and marble en-suites and separate entrances accessing off the courtyard and fountain area and leading down to the pool. One internal bedroom with built in wardrobes and marble en-suite and extra accommodation next door with flat screen TV/DVD player including a wide variety of DVD’s to choose from. On the first floor you will find 2 carpeted bedrooms with built-in wardrobes with gas fireplaces accessing private terraces overlooking the pool and garden.

Fonte Santa is very close to the facilities of Almancil. Within easy reach of the famous golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo and close to miles and miles of golden beaches. A 5-minute drive you can enjoy a fabulous meal at the following restaurants: Don Giovanni, Parilla Natural and Temperus.

All rental periods include 1 mid-week maid service with towel change. Extra maid service available please ask for details. The villa is prepared for your arrival.
Changeover days vary from property to property. Please email us for more information. It is necessary to vacate the villa by 10am on the last day. Access to the villa is after 4pm on day of arrival.
Pool heating is available and costs an additional €983 per week includes VAT. Please note that the temperature of the water when heated is dependent on the external temperature/weather. Cold overnight temperatures and rain will mean that the water may be cooler. We cannot guarantee a temperature of the water. The pool cover must be returned when finished swimming to ensure that the water stays warm.

The quoted weekly rates include maid service with a mid-week towel change. Stays of 13 nights or more include a long-stay clean and linen change. For stays of 9 to 12 nights for your comfort, there is a compulsory additional maid service with linen and towel change at a surcharge of €339.11. The rental includes air conditioning, preparation of the property and cleaning on departure. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Individual hire : Foldaway bed with linen and towels €125, baby travel cot (as provided by manufacturer) & provision of foam mattress, linen and towels €90, high chair €30. Extra Maid service on request - €60 per 2 hour booking (this consists of either 1 maid for 2 hours or 2 maids for 1 hour).
SandyBlue can provide many extras on request (charges apply) such as pool tables and table tennis (where installation is possible), in villa catering, car hire and airport transfers etc. Please ask for more details.

For all rentals, a securing deposit must be paid at the time of booking. This is 25% of the total booking value. All such deposits are non-refundable. The final balance is to be paid 12 weeks before arrival.
Accidental Damage Cover (ADC, Non-Refundable)
Villa Summer Bay is covered for accidental damage by a non-refundable charge of €84 per week, which will be added to your confirmation invoice. This covers you for accidental damage to the property during your occupation up to the value of €200 per incident. This expressly excludes damage caused through negligence and / or vandalism.
If there has been any accidental damage to the property that exceeds the value of €200, you will be notified by email within 10 days of your leaving date and we will discount the amount above €200 from your refundable security deposit. However, if SandyBlue believes that this damage was caused by negligence and/or vandalism, ADC will not apply and the full cost of any repairs or replacements will be deducted from the refundable security deposit.
In the event of any damage, we ask that you notify us immediately regardless of value.
This does not cover lost house keys which will be immediately charged if lost.
Security Deposit (Refundable)
In addition to the ‘Accidental Damage Cover’, Villa Summer Bay is also subject to a refundable ‘Security Deposit’. This is a fixed amount of €2,000 and is payable at least 4 weeks prior to arrival date.
Any damage caused to the property must be reported immediately and any damage cost will be deducted from your security deposit. Your ‘Accidental Damage Cover’ will cover the first €200 of any single incident.
Following your departure, the Property Management Team will inspect the property and you will be informed within 10 days of any issues identified. If no issues are detected, your security deposit will be returned in full within 14 days.
Properties managed by SandyBlue have full access to our property management and housekeeping services. We undertake routine inspections regularly, ensuring the property is ready to welcome new guests.
We believe in pristine properties. Our maintenance team is always on hand to oversee many aspects of the property, while housekeeping’s professional approach means the very best hygiene protocols are followed all year round.
