We want you to enjoy every moment of your SandyBlue holiday, from your first visit to our website to the welcome home email when you have had a great holiday and sadly gone home.
What makes a SandyBlue holiday so special?
Come and visit us in our lovely Almancil office. It's so much nicer to meet in person, rather than just by email. Come in for a chat, a cup of coffee or a chilled drink - we'd love to meet you!
Amy left the land of leeks and rugby, to enjoy the sunshine and beaches of the Algarve. Mum to a young family, she understands just how important family holidays are and she loves playing matchmaker between the lovely families who choose to holiday with us and our gorgeous villas.
My mother is Portuguese and my father is English, I spent most of my childhood in England but always back and forth on holiday to the sunny Algarve. I always felt at home when I was here so when my parents sold the family business and decided to move here in 2009 I was already packed and ready to go. I have 2 beautiful children aged 12 and 7 and they have a great life here. England was my home but I can say I have never looked back. My family are here and my friends, we have sun, sea and beautiful beaches and great food what more could I ask for.
So how do I describe myself..? I am friendly, bubbly a little bit crazy at times (in a good way of course) I love to have a laugh with people and seeing people enjoy themselves. I would definitely class myself as a peoples person, I love to interact with clients, make them feel comfortable and build a connection with them so they know they have made the right decision. I can honestly say that I am very settled here at SandyBlue and cannot wait to meet you. ☺
I’ve been off and got married and got me some nice kiddies. At SandyBlue I am doing what I love - telling everyone about fabulous beaches, gorgeous places to drink cocktails at sunset and of course holidaying in our beautiful villas. Ask me anything about the Algarve and I probably know the answer, if not I will find out to make sure we plan an amazing holiday for you!
Silvia brings experience and energy to the tapestry that is SandyBlue, dividing her time between office duties and property visits where she ensures everything is correctly prepared for your arrival and running smoothly during your stay.
I was born in Algarve and I've always loved the contact with nature and living near the sea. In my free time I like to walk on the beach, run, meditate, listen to music and discover new places. I am always looking for a challenge and to learn new things.
Passionate about different cultures, places and people, always ready to learn and try new things. After 10 years of living abroad in big cities discovering a bit of the world, decided to settle in the Algarve where the sun shines and people smile. Deeply believe we can make life a blissful experience everyday
Filipa is a local girl and the SandyBlue Housekeeper. She toils in the background to ensure that you have crisp clean sheets to rest upon, fluffy soft towels for the beach and a lovely welcome pack to greet you when you arrive at your SandyBlue property. When not preparing for your arrival, Filipa loves to spend time exploring Faro, her hometown.
The SandyBlue Housekeeping team, Patricia, Susana, Inga and Ana Isa, sail forth each day, armed with dusters and detergents, to battle dust and detritus. No corner is too dark, no picture frame too high – all are scrubbed, polished and vanquished, and your SandyBlue villa shines victoriously, ready for your arrival.
Having had flown and living in the heart of U.K (London) at such young age I have managed to get myself back to where I originate. Having worked my way through life (at yet such young “life”) I have encountered myself and now know what I enjoy doing, that’s organising and making people feel comfortable. I love to get to know new things and always ready to be a helping hand. I am a peoples person, always ready to smile and greet, let me make you a cup of tea and we have a chat about your amazing holiday with SandyBlue.
I originate from the hills of Wales! Proud to Welsh, I came to Portugal in 2011 for 5 days and fell in love with the Algarve, its people, food, beaches and later its culture. I’ve made a life here and although new to SandyBlue I feel at home here. Elton John thinks "sorry" seems to be the hardest word. He clearly hasn’t been to "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch"
I came from the North of Portugal to find the sun in the Algarve... and stayed. I enjoy seeing more of the Algarve, it’s a beautiful place - I especially like to go out on a boat on the Rio Formosa to the islands, as they are very special places. My job is to make sure that everything is working perfectly and to SandyBlue standards in all our lovely properties. If it’s broken – I can fix it!

Two plus Two is always four in Sandra’s world. Side by side with her colleague Patricia, Sandra cuts a swathe through fields of numbers. Originally from Lisbon, Sandra swapped big city life for a life of sunshine, beaches and an easier commute.
I was born here in the Algarve, but my whole family lives in the Alentejo and so my parents and I always traveled on weekends to visit them. Since then I've been a travel addict. Every year I choose a different country to visit. I lived in England for the last two years and I loved it, but I missed the food, especially the fresh fish, wine and the Algarve weather.
I never thought I would end up in the Algarve – I came south like the birds... but I stayed. I love the blue skies and the sandy beaches, so working at SandyBlue is just right for me. I’m a perfectionist and I check every last detail to make sure that all our properties are in top condition for your stay.
For me - living and working in the Algarve is an amazing opportunity that I often pinch myself to check its real. Originally hailing from Sydney here's me on Coogee beach, you can see that sun surf & sand is in my blood. I am lucky to have a fabulous team to work with to ensure you have an amazing holiday with SandyBlue!
I don’t like to wear a suit, as you can see the last time I wore one... well let's say it was quite a while ago. I love the Algarve, the beach, the sunshine all year round and the fabulous fresh fish at amazing beach-side restaurants! If you see a guy running about with two dogs in tow that’s me... running is my passion and there is no better place to enjoy the great outdoors than here.
From an early age my parents noticed that I needed the calming influence that can only be found in the paradise that is the Algarve. So we moved here in the mid-nineties. And indeed my urges to crush the rebel alliance are often calmed by the wonderful scenery, the glorious sun or a beer which means I can concentrate on keeping the SandyBlue website running smoothly. Together we can rule the galaxy... but we'll start tomorrow.
