Casa Luz do Sol is a superb 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment that sleeps 4, with infinity pool on the deck, located in the sought after Margarida development in the 5 star resort of Vale do Lobo. The Margarida development is a recent addition to Vale do Lobo and offers quality modern living of exceptional standards. All the amenities of Vale do Lobo are close by, yet the location is tranquil and secure. Casa Luz do Sol is located on the first floor and offers fabulous views across Vale do Lobo towards the sea. The deck, just off the living room, is where you will probably spend quite some time….the infinity pool is mesmerizing, perfect for languid dips while admiring the views across the resort. A pool fence can be installed for younger visitors' security (charges apply). There is plenty of room for sun loungers on the wooden deck so you can work on that tan in comfort. There is outside dining furniture and gas and charcoal BBQs too on the deck for relaxed al fresco dining.
The main door opens into the spacious entrance hall, with a guest cloakroom, which in turn leads through double glass doors to the bright and modern living room. This is a generous sized room which has two double sliding doors to the terrace, a large screen TV with Lazer TV offering a great range of channels, air conditioning, a decorative (not for use) feature salamander and adjacent dining area that can accommodate six. The rippling reflections from the infinity pool on the living room ceiling add a magical touch. The adjacent kitchen has stone counter tops and plenty of cupboard space and is well equipped with dishwasher, coffee maker, oven, hob and microwave. There is a separate utility room.
There are 2 bedrooms in Casa Luz do Sol, both air conditioned and both ensuite. The master suite is generous in size with double bed, built in wardrobes and spacious dressing room, TV, access to a private sun terrace and a large ensuite bathroom with double sinks, bath and walk in shower. The second bedroom is a twin room (can be made up as a double) also with TV, built in wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. This room also has access to the sun deck.
Casa Luz do Sol is a modern apartment offering great comfort in a great location. All the facilities of Vale do Lobo are nearby, including award winning golf courses, tennis academy, a range of restaurants and nightlife venues, boutiques and of course, great beaches.
The Vale do Lobo resort is surrounded by natural pine forests, ochre beach side cliffs, miles of golden sand dunes which roll down onto pristine sandy beaches, all touched by the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. From Vale do Lobo beach you can walk in a easterly direction to both ‘Praia do Ancao’ and ‘Praia do Garrao ’ , through the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa which is a heritage protected area of lagoons and wet areas that support the local wildlife population. If you walk towards the west you pass Praia do Trafal and Praia do Almargem, following onto Praia Forte Novo and then onto the Quarteria stretch of beaches.
The Vale do Lobo Resort offers an excellent selection of restaurants and nightlife options, with great evening entertainment in the Praca during the summer. The Resort boasts some of the best sporting facilities in the area including fabulous golf courses, an excellent Tennis Academy and plenty of lovely walks and paths to explore.

Changeover days vary from property to property please email us for more information. It is necessary to vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure in the high season. Access to the property is after 4pm on day of arrival unless previous arrangements have been made.
A pool fence can be installed for an additional charge of €155 per week. There is no pool fence at this property.
For all rentals a securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 25% of the total booking cost. All deposits are non refundable.
All rentals - the balance is to be paid 12 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of €600 is payable before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days after departure if the property has been left in an appropriate condition.
The quoted weekly rates include maid service with a mid-week towel change. Stays of 13 nights or more include a long-stay clean and linen change. For stays of 9 to 12 nights for your comfort, there is a compulsory additional maid service with linen and towel change at a surcharge of €128.41. The rental includes air conditioning, preparation of the property and cleaning on departure. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Individual hire : Foldaway bed with linen and towels €125, baby travel cot (as provided by manufacturer) & provision of foam mattress, linen and towels €90, high chair €30.

Everything was fine with our holiday and the apartment was fabulous, we thought it was value for money and will return sometime sure, that is for certain. The "basket gift" was a nice touch which you left us and the general necessaties in the fridge were really helpful.
Just a quick note to say thank you for a Perfect holiday last week at Casa Luz do Sol, we had a great time and very sad to be home, However we are already looking at booking for next year so I will keep you posted.

We had a fabulous holiday in Vale do Lobo. The apartments were lovely, very modern with quality appliances. Sandy Blue were very responsive on the couple of occasions I had to contact them on minor issues. Nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely to hear from you. We had a safe journey home and our sixth holiday to Vale Do Lobo, was again fantastic! We do love it there and the Margarida Apartments are superb. I'm sorry but I must be one of the few people who are not on Facebook, so I can't add a comment or photo there but I will say that the holiday was amazing and all the dealings that we had with you and your colleagues throughout the duration of our holiday was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and you kindly did everything to get a plumbing engineer out on a Sunday to fix the hot water boiler.
We had a wonderful time and the apartment was stunning. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sandy Blue onto friends. You covered everything and assisted with any issues we had in a very timely manner. I would definitely book our holiday through you again!
My overall experience from start to finish with Sandy Blue was great. All staff that I have dealt with were all extremely helpful and knowledgable also. All my queries were answered promptly which was extremely reassuring and helpful. The apartment where myself and my family stayed was lovely and modern.
